Suicide is a big problem in Guyana and this story highlights how this problem is not simply going away.
In this case a popular teenage student committed suicide after he faced expulsion over an alleged relationship he had with his 18 year old teacher. His father is blaming his son’s death on the school. According to him, the school should have intervened before the situation got out of control.
