A Documentary That’ll Make You Think Twice About Poverty in Guyana

Watch this documentary and we guarantee that whether or not you are Guyanese, you will think twice about poverty in Guyana.

The documentary ‘Tin City Voices’ tells the story of survival in a Guyana. Shot by filmmaker Elijah Marchand, the documentary explores a shantytown in Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana.

Elijah tells the story through the eyes and voices of an abused woman, a pregnant mother, and a man struggling to find redemption for his violent life. Although they live separate lives, they all share the same experiences, poverty. Their stories are emotional, real and reflective of the changes taking place in Guyana.
