If you live in Guyana maybe know of or just heard of the latest suicide incident. These may or not be people who are in your circle of friends. But what if they were – would you know the signs and how to help?

Many Guyanese are indifferent to the Suicide epidemic that face the country of Guyana. Perhaps as a proud Guyanese you don’t want to be reminded of this problem. But it won’s simply go away!

The first step is to recognize that suicide is a problem in Guyana. The next step is to try to do something to change this. On January 22, 2016. There was a march in Guyana to raise the awareness; suicide is a problem in Guyana and it is time people start recognizing this.
