This Guyanese Doctor Shows Why Giving Back To Guyana is Important

Dr James Reynolds, a Guyanese doctor now living and working in the US visited Guyana in 2013 as part of a voluntary medical team to provide healtcare services to ordinary Guyanese. One year later he is back on his own as part of what he sees as his duty to give back to his country.

He could have decided to go somewhere else even to a another country with more healthcare needs but Dr Reynolds believe that one shoud take care of their own first.

The fact is that many Guyanese move to other countries and never return to Guyana. However people like Dr James Reynolds have decided that it is important to recognize your country of birth and to give back as much as you can.
