Wilmot Thomas, a shepherd from St Kitts is a great example of what makes this country unique and interesting. He has been raising livestock for almost 35 years. At first he started with cows and pigs but today he is strictly into raising sheeps and goats.
Thomas embodies local culture and agricultural sustainability on the island of St Kitts. Yes there are economic challenges. Like many Caribbean islands, St Kitts and Nevis faces significant challenges in maintaining a viable agricultural sector.
