After we read the comments on our Facebook page related to the story of 11 year old Husaené Martin from St Kitts and Nevis, we decided to offer a small token of our appreciation to Husaené Martin. Fortunately we were able to speak with Miss Wallace, the principal of St James Primary School. Once again the principal told us about Husaené Martin’s unselfish act.
We are happy to announced that Husaené Martin has received our small token and although we wish we could have done more, it will defintely help Husaené Martin’s parents in some small way.

I came across the story of 11 year old Husaen Martin from St Kitts and Nevis whose act of kindness was recognized when she was bestowed with Hon. I will let Husaen explain in her own words; At Inter-Primary I was running the 800 meters. I feel if you have a person who you call a friend, you must care about them, love them and treat them well, We often focus on the sensation stories and forget that everyday somewhere in the Caribbean something as great as this happens and should be shared.
