Loverly Sheridan was born and raised on the island of St.Lucia, to a single parent household of six children.

As a child, she dreamed of seeing the world, and often imagined what life was like beyond the clouds.

Where others saw merely clouds, Loverly saw adventure, excitement–possibilities. But back then, opportunities for traveling the world seemed impossible. But she never gave up on her dreams and she decided that she would one day travel the world to discover all its fascinating wonders. And that is exactly what she did.

At the age of twenty four she decided to begin her journey. Her Journey took her to six of the seven continents, and ahe also had the privilege of living in Australia, Japan, China, USA, Barbados and Sweden, and visiting such countries as Singapore, Poland, South Africa, Mauritius, Holland, Egypt, Argentina, India, United Kingdom, Morocco, Italy, France, Uruguay among others. A little girls dreams had turned into a reality.

She began writing at an early age, being a lover of Literature and stories.“I always feel in my element when I write. It’s my passion and the best way I know how to express myself,” she said.

Loverly is passionate about life and everything in it, and is happy to call three amazing countries home: Saint Lucia, the U.S and Sweden, each of which have enriched and heightened her passion for traveling and writing. Loverly Sheridan has a Master’s degree in International Relations from Griffith University in Australia and last year, she was the recipient of an International Athena Young Professional Leadership Award.

Having experienced life in numerous points of the globe, Sheridan observes, “Life is a struggle for us all, no matter who we are and where we are from. We all bleed, hurt, cry, laugh, make mistakes, triumph, fail, win, lose, etc.; but I believe that only when we stay true to our authentic selves can we truly be happy.”

Loverly has written books such as A Girl Like Me, Tiki-Tok Growing Up In Saint Lucia and Be a buddy, not a bully. Below is a video of Sheridan giving advice to young people.
