There is another side of Trinidad and Tobago that is often overlooked. One such place is La Vega is a small village located in Gran Couva Trinidad, where the Trinidadian live a very simple and humble lifestyle.
The video below captures small moments in the lives of four brothers enjoying each other’s company with a true appreciation for their natural surroundings. You will see them riding, climbing trees, running, flipping and taking a stroll along the narrow, unpaved roadway lined with cocoa trees to one side and a variety of tropical fauna on the other.
This is the side of the Caribbean not seen in traditional media. I hope the video brings back good memories for many who experienced this simple lifestyle during their childhood years.
