Ethel Castellano lives in Arima, a community in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She is without doubt a truly incredible person.
A mother of 13 children (10 still alive), Ethel lost her “husband” 40 years ago. I wrote “husband” because Ethel firmly believe that love goes deeper than just a wedding ring.
Ethel is 99 years old, and you can tell in her interview with a Trinidadian TV, C News Live that she is letting her age prevent her from enjoying life to the fullest. During the interview, Ethel demonstrated a couple of dance moves. Here is segment from the recent interview.

It’s simply impossible not to be overwhelmed with admiration for this inspirational lady. I sincerely hope she stays in good health, has a wonderful life, and achieves everything she’s set out to do. And come January 1, 2017, I definitely will try to remember to celebrate her 100th birthday.
