For most Caribbean youths, getting a decent line of work nowadays can be a daunting task, particularly for youngsters.

Compare to North America, Caribbean youths are especially likely to experience higher joblessness, poor occupation conditions and a befuddle between their aptitudes and work showcase needs.

Globally in excess of 66 million youngsters between 15 and 24 over the world are unemployed. Tourism has been the bread and butter for many Caribbean countries but the types of jobs are limited and offer few incentives to attract Caribbean youths

For many Caribbean youths, entrepreneurship can be a pathway to decent work and income opportunities. Caribbean governments need to empower young people by providing them with various avenues to fulfil their potential.
